The number of cellphone users in the world is increasing day by day. We all have already enlisted in the series. Have you ever think of the bacteria's that may spread from our body to cellphones? If not, we invite your attention to a recent report published in a Journal of Applied Microbiology, which states that 20 to 30 percent of bacteria are transferred between the user’s finger and the cellphone. Also, Smartphones and tablets harbour more germs than toilet seats, says a report published in The telegraph website.
Blackberry’s CEO John Chen has recently revealed that, the company is having an idea to introduce a smartphone which will be a bacteria-free one in all senses. John Chen has made the comment at Canada's Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, where the company unveiled a pilot project aimed at providing the hospital staff with a portable messaging and alert system.

According to a study, many of the healthcare professionals do not follow the norm of wiping off their smartphone with alcohol. By pointing to this, Chen said that the bacteria-free smartphone from his company would be “one less thing to wipe down”. The company is making the smartphone for hospital professionals and not the regular customers, he specified.

Anyway the project has been not started yet. But the Canadian smartphone maker- blackberry is trying to win over the healthcare sector with this new project, even if they are not doing well in the smartphone sales.
