Along with the galaxy gear, Samsung has also officially revealed the most-rumoured Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and you can get the full Specifications and details of Galaxy Note 3 from here. Now let’s talk about the specifications of samsung galaxy gear.
SAMSUNG GALAXY GEAR SPECIFICATIONS
The Samsung galaxy gear comes with a 320×320 pixels screen resolution on the 1.63 inch Super AMOLED display, and the camera lies on the strap of the Gear. It surely doesn’t capture any high-res photos but a camera on the wrist watch is more than what one would want to have. The Galaxy Gear can capture 10-second videos at 720p quality, and it has got a 1.9 megapixel BSI sensor and an auto-focus lens.
Accelerometer and Gyroscope are the sensors included in the gear and the connectivity options that you get in the Gear includes Bluetooth® v 4.0 + BLE. It features a 512MB RAM and the storage that is included in the wearable gadget is 4GB, along with 315 mAh Li-ion battery.
The smartwatch runs on an 800 MHz processor, and it comes with Atooma, a platform which powers the smartness of the Galaxy Gear.
With the built-in microphone and Samsung’s S Voice virtual assistant, users can dictate text messages, set alarms and create calendar entries. The watch can also serve as a hands-free speakerphone, relying on the user’s smartphone for the voice connection. A “safety assistance” feature sends the user’s location to a trusted contact, and when the watch is within 1.5 meters of a paired smartphone, it allows the user to bypass the phone’s lock screen.

It’s about the oddly-placed camera which lies on the strap, and the 1.9-megapixel lens does quite a fine job by capturing both photos and videos, while helping you in making the social sharing easier, as you don’t have to hold the huge smartphones in the hand always.
Color options of the Galaxy Gear
Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal Beige, Rose Gold, Lime Green.
Samsung Galaxy Gear Availability
The Galaxy Gear is going to hit the market from September 25th. But the Galaxy Gear is now available for pre-order. The Gear, along with the
Galaxy Note 3, can be preordered from AT&T and Verizon.
Samsung Galaxy Gear Price
If you want the Galaxy Gear, your only option now is to buy it as part of a
bundle with the Note 3 for $599.98 with a new two-year contract or
$999.98 without. Verizon promises both packages will ship “by Oct. 10.” Actual market price is not revealed yet.
What’s the bad news
At launch, the Galaxy Gear will only work with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 and upcoming Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Future software updates will allow the Gear to pair with the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note II, but it doesn’t look like Samsung’s going to support other phones, even those that run Android.
The price will be a bad factor as it sounds around $300, and in the United States it’ll be more expensive than most on-contract phones.
What’s Next
Stay tuned for more. We will bring you more updates very soon and by the time just share your thoughts about the galaxy gear with us. Thanks for your time.
