As per the latest reports coming from a German website, WinFuture.de, Microsoft is planning to sell Windows 10 Home and Professional versions via USB flash drives,in addition to the old-fashioned method of selling them on DVD discs.
The official launch of the Windows 10 is scheduled on July 29. If the reports can be trusted, the USB Flash drive version will allow the OS to be installed and licensed for use on one PC. Microsoft has not yet made a word on, how they are planning to distribute and sell their Windows 10 products.
The software giant, Microsoft, has already confirmed that people in the US who want to install Windows 10 on a new PC will have to pay $119 for Windows 10 Home and $199 for Windows 10 Professional. Consumers who already have a Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 version can get a free upgrade to Windows 10, after the launch. However, Microsoft announced these price tags only for the US markets and they had never made a statement yet, about the price range in other countries including India.
