How To Find Fake Emails And Get Protected



It is difficult for most of us to remember a life without email – especially with regard to the workplace, where reading, writing and responding to emails now takes up large proportions of many people’s daily lives. As the technologies keep developing, so is the email services. One of the major problems we are dealing with emails is spam mails. Even though the email service providers are picking up spam mails separately, it doesn't come up to the marks. Although the spammers has improved even further. By applying some logic, identifying fake emails is now easier than you imagine. So let's have a look at what we can do.

How To Identify Fake Emails?

First open the email that you need to find out the trustworthy. Then click on the down arrow at the right side of the “Me” (see the picture below).

After that, you can see something like this:

This shows the email details and if it comes from a trusted sender, it show two more fields that say mailed by & signed by (see the picture below).

But this will be included only in the emails that are coming from big companies with their own servers (like Google, Twitter, Facebook  etc..). In the above image, you can see the mail is signed by the twitter itself.

Then What will we do in the case of other than this big shots ?

Voila..! There is a way down here..
For this we need to look out the SHOW ORIGINAL feature in the header of the email (See the image below and do like that).

Then you will get a Header Information page like the following image. Then search for “Received:From” in the page.

Here, we can see the email is received originally from emkei.cz and it  pretends to be from the city bank. Emkei.cz is an online tool to create and send such fake emails. Never reply to emails like this. So be careful about the emails that you have checking on and get guard yourself.
